Luanda - Some 80.000 inhabitants of Icolo e Bengo Municipality, mainly those ones in rural areas, will benefit from drinkable waters, in the coming two months, ANGOP has learnt.

The municipal administrator, António Calado, said it on Tuesday, adding that this figure represents 50 per cent of the local population.

The official said that the water supply will come from boreholes with the abstraction and treatment systems, under the Integrated Municipal Programme of Fight against Poverty and Rural Development.

The project will benefit the inhabitants of Calomboloca, Mazozo, Barra, Caculo Cahango and Zenza do Golungo.
