Huambo - A 24-year old citizen was beaten to death, over the weekend by her husband, in Caála Municipality, central Huambo Province, ANGOP has learnt.

The spokesman of the Civil Protection and Fire Service in Huambo, Francisco Mwepa, said the body of Anita Fernandes was found on a sewerage ditch.

The culprit is already in Police custody.
