Bengo Province vice governor checks social projects

Caxito - The vice governor of Bengo Province for the economic sector, Domingos Guilherme, is since this Friday morning working in Bula Atumba District, aimed at learning of the pace in the execution of the Municipal Integrated Programme of Rural Development and Fight against Poverty.

 

The mentioned programme is intended to improve social indicators, mainly those linked to health, education, access roads, energy, water, basic sanitation, community services and institutional support.

 

In the ambit of the Municipal Integrated Programme of Rural Development and Fight against Poverty, the Bula Atumba District has received 217 million kwanzas, which are being invested this year in the implementation of thirty-seven projects.  


The Bula Atumba District is located 135 kilometres to the north-east of Caxito city and has about 12.000 inhabitants.
