Thirty four disableds admitted last year in the civil service

 

Malanje - Thirty four disableds were admitted in the civil service, last year, in north central Malanje province, the head of the provincial branch of the association of angolan war disabled former soldiers (AMMIGA) told Angop today. 


Antonio Nicolau stated that 19 of them were admitted in the health sector and 15 in education, under the public conpetition to the civil service held in 2009, rejoicing with the fact that the government is fully implementing the designed two per cent vacancies for disableds in the civil service.


According to mr Nicolau there are many disableds who are unemployed and without social stability neither professional training hanging around in several municipalities of the province.


He added that AMMIGA and the office of the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security in Malanje have been working tograther for the training of its members in the fields of education, health, locksmith and plumbing.


AMMIGA controls 2,880 disableds in Malanje province who recently started getting free medication benefit.
