Protection services commend pilgrims' behaviour at Muxima Shrine

Luanda - The Civil Protection and Fire Services Department (SPCB) on Sunday in Luanda commended the positive behaviour of Catholic faithful, during the pilgrimage to Muxima Shrine, Bengo Province, which took place on 4-5 September.    


Speaking to ANGOP, SPCB spokesman, Faustino Sebastião, said the pilgrims heeded the appeal for prevention made at the spot by the effectives of this organ, which is part of the Ministry of the Interior.


The SPCB placed in the spot about 100 men who came from the provincial commands of Luanda and Bengo, who had at their disposal several rescuing means, such as helicopters provided by the National Police, ambulances, fire fighting trucks and boats.
