Kissama
Police to deploy over 300 officers to secure pilgrimage

Kissama,  -  At least 350 police officers, backed up by vehicles, helicopters and other means, will be deployed in Kissama town, northern Bengo province, to reinforce the  district Commando of Kissama, with a view to securing the safety of faithful during the
pilgrimage to Our Lady Shrine of Muxima.

 

The information was released Thursday to Angop by the provincial director of  Public Order and member of preparatory commission of pilgrimage, superintendent Marques  Domingos.

 

The yearly event gathers about 100,000 faithful from different parts of the country.

 

This year the pilgrimage to Our Lady of  Muxima will happen on  04 and 05 September
