Official suggests study on congenital malformation in Nehone families

Ondjiva – The governor of southern Cunene province, António Didalelwa, Tuesday in Nehone commune, called for the need to conduct urgent scientific studies, along with Health Ministry, with a view to identify the causes and reasons of congenital malformation in families resident in that locality.

According to the official, the studies may involve analysis of blood and other elements from human body, in order to provide a medical diagnosis of the situation.

“It is necessary that the future generation of those family aggregates be born without this disability which immobilize the legs and leaving only the knees to walk with”, concluded the governor.
