Luanda, – The Ministry of Family and Women Promotion (Mifamu) and “Comandante Loy” SA Consortium will sign next Monday in Luanda an agreement on their existing partnership, based on joint implementation of housing projects in the communities.
The agreement will be signed by the incumbent Family minister Genoveva Lino, and José Domingos de Barros, for the Consortium.
A note released by the Family Ministry delivered to Angop Thursday, says that the signing of accord comes as the result of diagnosis of housing needs carried out since 2008 by the technical commissions of the institutions in the provinces of Bengo, Kwanza Sul, Benguela, Huíla, Huambo and Uíge.
The document also added that the signing of protocol of partnership between the two institutions will respond to the details of the government programme for 2009-2012 period, on the housing needs of population and the National Programme of Urbanisation and Housing.
The programme still consists of mobilising and incentive the engagement of public institutions and private agents in the improvement of restructuring and expansion of urban system.
This will also lessen the housing deficit, in order to ensure a proper residence to each family, according to their income.
The “Comandante Loy”, SA Consortium is an Angolan company founded in1998, whose shareholders are mostly former combatants and motherland veterans.
