Angola; Over 2,000 pilgrims already in Muxima


 
Muxima - Over 2,000 pilgrims, out of the expected 250,000, are already in the village of Muxima, Bengo province, for the pilgrimage honouring Our Lady of Muxima, September 4-5, the spokesman of the event told Angop today.

 


The mounting of the Altar, where the pontifical eucharistic will be addressed Sunday is fully completed as well as two central adjancent banks.

 


The chairman of the eucharistic celebration, the Bishop of Sumbe, Dom Benedito Roberto,is expected in the village of Muxima on Saturday, according to father Domingos Pestana. 

 


The opening eucharistic of the pilgrimage will be celebrated by the bishop of Viana, dom Joaquim Ferreira Lopes.
