Luanda – Catholic priest Apolónio Graciano appealed on Friday to fathers to spend more time with their children, so as to secure union and security in homes.
The canon said so when he was speaking about “Father’s Importance” during a workshop organised by the provincial committee of the MPLA party in Luanda, in partnership with the ruling party’s women wing (OMA), in Luanda’s Sambizanga District.
The Catholic priest said that fathers should create an environment of balance in their homes.
The priest praised the efforts of those fathers that have been transmitting civic, moral and religious values to children.
The workshop, which was held in the framework of the International Father’s Day, marked on March 19, was attended by the provincial deputy secretary of OMA, Paula Sacramento, and by the secretary for information of the provincial committee of MPLA in Luanda, Fragata de Morais, among other entities.
