Parishers condemn women domestic violence in Huambo

Huambo - The leader of the group of women of the Saint Peter Parish  in Huambo, Valeriana Jolela, strongly condemned today domestic violence carried out by women which ended in the death of their children and spouses.

 

She made the statement at the end of a visit to the penitenciary of Huambo where 28 women are jailed for domestic violence crimes.

Mrs Jolela urged women to cultivate the spirit of love and peace as mothers, spouses and caretakers of the house and husbands.

During the visit organized by the provincial office of the family and woman promotion ministry, the prisoners were conpemplated with assorted goods and a lunch prepared by the parishers.
