Ondjiva/Cuvelai road circulation resumed

 

Cuvelai – The road circulation between Ondjiva and municipality of Cuvelai, south province of Cunene was resumed with a reduction of water level that was halting people and cars from moving, said the municipal administrator, Lopo Bravo ”Chacahado”.

 

 
According to the official, due to floods triggered by heavy rains in the region was impossible to reach the district of Omala nearby Ondjiva by road.

 


In his turn, the municipal administrator of Ombadja, Manuel Domingos Taby said that the same is happening on his area and the circulation along Caculuvale bridge was resumed allowing people to travel to the communes of Humbe and Kalueque.

 

 
Angop learnt that floods in Ombadja destroyed 47 houses and displaced 120 people.
