MPs meet with civil protection commission

Ondjiva – The members of National Assembly for southern Cunene province's electoral ward Friday in the capital city of Ondjiva learnt about the current situation of floods in the region during a meeting with members of Civil Protection Commission.

 

Addressing an opening ceremony of the meeting the coordinator of MPs, Elias Satyamba, called for the importance to follow up the real situation of this natural phenomenon that left various families homeless.


 
The National Assembly should be informed on the damage caused by the floods and the efforts inserted by the local and central governments for lessening the flood effects and assistance to the victims.
