Luanda  – The Government of Japan on Friday here expressed its interest in assisting the needy Angolans, so that they can improve their living conditions, an official source has announced.

This was expressed by the Japanese ambassador to Angola, Kazuhiko Koshikawa, during
the signing of co-operation programmes with the non-governmental organisations Agoavi,
Afder and Coopil.

These programmes aim at supplying water in the localities of Quiimuço, Uije, the
construction of a health centre in Lué (Zaire) and the execution of a sustainable agricultural
production for women, in Kuchi (Kuando-Kubango province).

Each project will benefit from 200 to 300 people.
