621 people bitten by dogs and cats

 

Luanda – A total of  621 people were bitten by cats and dogs throughout the country from March 10 up today, the director of the institute of veterinary services revealed today.

 

Addressing the press during the meeting of the inter-ministerial anti-rabies commission, mr António José stated that no new cases of human rabies was reported keeping the number of confirmed acses at 23.

 

According to him 47,408 pets were vaccinated since the begining of the campaign throughout the country, but the provinces of Luanda, Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul.
