Social Communication minister visited Angop

Luanda - The Social Communication minister, Carolina Cerqueira, visited Wednesday the  headquarters of the Angola Press Agency (Angop) in Luanda, to  assess the functioning of  the country's unique such media organ.


Accompanied by the deputy minister, Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi", and the National Information director, José Luis de Matos, the minister was informed to the detail about the Agency's upgrading project, by the Angop director general, Manuel da Conceição, and the deputy director  for Information, Luisa Damião, and the Technical director, Daniel Jorge.


The official, who took an oath as minister early in February this year, already visited the headquarters of the State-run "Radio Nacional de Angola", "Televisao Publica de Angola broadcasting stations and the country's sole daily newspaper,  "Jornal de Angola".
