Over 11.000 pets vaccinated in Huila province

Lubango, – Almost 11,000 pets were vaccinated against rabies in southern Huila province under a campaign against the disease organized by local veterinary services, the head of the veterinary service told Angop today.

 

According to Miguel Barbosa 10.900 dogs, 70 cats and 30 monkeys were vaccinated in the 14 municipalities of the province during the first days of the campaign expected to finish next  month with the vaccination of over 35.000 pets, against the 30,000 animals in 2009.
