Mass Media Ministry committed to staff training

Luanda – The Social Communication Ministry reaffirms its commitment to the training and upgrading of professionals of the sector, said Friday the director of Journalists Training Centre (Cefojor), Albino Carlos, who quoted the incumbent Media minister, Carolina Cerqueira, as  saying.

 
Albino Carlos was speaking to the press after the visit of minister Carolina Cerqueira to his institution.


According to him, the training will cover infant-juvenile reporters, so that the children feel a significant presence in media organs.


During the visit, the minister reaffirmed more and more the sector’s commitment to the continuous training and a technical professional upgrading of ministry's staff, including the infant-juvenile reporters.

 
Albino Carlos said that the event discussed social and housing situation of the workers as well as staff training.

 
The official, who took an oath as minister early in February this year, has already visited the headquarters of the State-run “Public television, "Radio station, the country's sole daily newspaper,  "Jornal de Angola", Aníbal de Melo Press Centre (CIAM) and printing house.
