MPs check functioning of health sector in Kwanza Sul

Sumbe, – The MPs of the coastal Kwanza Sul province were reported friday about the public health sector in the province by the head of the local health council, Adão Castelo Branco.

 

During the meeting, mr Castelo Branco stressed the existance of physicians in all the province   districts, the shortage of  medicines and about the need for more health information in the communities.

 

The MPs also visited the Public Health office, the Provincial Medicine storehouse and the new District Hospital of Sumbe, to be open in April.


 
Speaking to the press at the end of the visit, the head of the parliamentary delegation, Maria Eulália Camilo, expressed her satisfaction with the effort of the provincial health department to improve the quality of services offered to the population.
