Luanda – The Law on Administrative Probity approved on March 5 by the National Assembly will discipline the country’s management in terms of rigour and transparency in handling public funds, stated Thursday, in Luanda, the secretary- general of the Angolan Council of Christian Churches (CICA), reverend Luís Nguimbi.
In an interview to ANGOP, speaking about the approval of this diploma, the cleric said that the document will regulate the use of public goods and funds in the country.
According to Luís Nguimbi, it is not enough the approval of the referred law by the legislative body of the nation, but it is also necessary its inspection, rigour and strong mechanism aimed at securing objectives outlined on the document.
The reverend defended also the need for organising seminars to upgrade public managers, as well as applying this law.
