Caxito – About 140 houses were destroyed in the fishing district of Dande, province of Bengo, following a fire caused by a child.

Speaking to Angop, the chief of fire brigade, Manuel de Carvalho said that the fire started at 4 pm and was controlled one hour late without causing victims.

The source said that the fire was caused when a child was trying to fry fish.

Manuel de Carvalho told that because of inflammable products like gas bottles, gasoline tankers, construction material and the houses constructed by grass caused significant damages.
