Beekeepers to create association

 
Namibe – The country’s beekeepers prepare the creation of ANAPA, an association that will unite producers of the sector to better defend the class interests, informed Tuesday the head of National Fauna Department of the Agriculture and Fishing Ministry, Frederico Maurício.

 

During an interview to Angop, in Namibe province, Frederico Maurício stated that the proclamation of Angola National Beekeeping Association (ANAPA) happens in six months and already has support from beekeepers from provinces like Moxico, Huambo, Bié, Kuando Kubango and Uíge.


 
Frederico Maurício added that 100 tones of honey were produced in 2009.
