140 animals vaccinated against rabies


Ombadja – At least 140 animals, among dogs, cats and monkeys were vaccinated against rabies in Ombadja district, southern Cunene province, from January to March this year, Angop has learnt.

 

 
The head of veterinary services, Júnior Lázaro, said the action will continue and is part of the execution of the National Programme of Contingency and Emergency Against Rabies (PNECR).

 

   
The source said in the mentioned period was only recorded one bit by animal, adding that a greater adherence by population to the campaign has also been registered.
