Bongo Adventist mission to be rehabilitated this year

Caála - Bongo Adventist Mission, in Huambo's Longonjo district, will be rehabilitated from this year, by the Angolan government and the religious congregation, Angop has learnt.

According to the Adventist Pastor in Bongo, David Seria, the works will comprise recovery of a hospital, schools, churches and residences for the mission.

David Seria said that international non-governmental organisations with the Adventist church approved the rehabilitation programme, in order to implement again the social role in favour of the Angolans.

Located in Huambo province, the mission was created in 1924, by American missionaries, and is the centre of the Adventist religious community in Angola.
