Government plans to hold international fair

 

Huambo – An international fair dubbed “Ekuikui II” will be held this year in the central Huambo province, in an initiative of the government aimed at boosting private investment and production for local development, ANGOP learnt.

 


This is one of the decisions emanating from the first ordinary session of the government of Huambo province, which included the presentation of the plan of 247 actions to be implemented during 2010, in the social and economic sectors of the region.

 

 
During the first ordinary session chaired by the provincial governor, Fernando Faustino Muteka, government officials analysed the national urbanisation and housing programme to be implemented on land reserves, on which over 49,700 social houses will be built.

 

 
The criminal situation of the past three months, the investment programme of the Caála industrial growthpoint, among other topics, were also reviewed by the government officials during the aforesaid ordinary session that was held last weekend.
