Luanda - The Angolan society was called upon to shape their consciousness and attitude based on love, respect for others and solidarity, aimed at building a better and fairer world for everyone.
This appeal was made by the priest Eugene Lumigu, who during this Sunday's homily said that "everyone must rely on God no matter who he is and that the limitations and human weakness cannot be a hindrance to reach this goal.
According to him, recovering this awareness is the most beautiful way to feel encouraged to build a more balanced and inclusive society.
Throughout the mass, father Eugene Lumigu urged Christians to participate in the campaign of solidarity with the victims of Haiti, a country ravaged by an earthquake in January this year.
The sermon was also marked by the announcement of the first instalment for the pilgrimage to Fatima, in Portugal.
