Provincial governor hands over six tons of various goods in Tango locality

Ndalatando – At least six tons of various essential goods were handed over last Thursday to the population of Tango locality, in the northern Kwanza Norte Province, by the governor Henrique Júnior, in the framework of the his two-day visit to that region.

 
During his visit, the governor also inaugurated infrastructures of water abstraction and supply to the localities of Mussabo, Luinga and Tango.

 
The goods which were handed over by the governor are maize flour, sugar, dried fish, vegetable oil, salt, textiles, used clothes, as well as detergents and domestic appliances.

 
In Tango locality, the official met with the chieftains and administrative authorities with whom he discussed about the preoccupations of the local population, having highlighted the efforts of the Angolan government, led by President José Eduardo dos Santos, in seeking solutions to the main problems of the citizens.

 
The governor highlighted the agricultural potential of Tango locality and he promised to check with the heads of the provincial agriculture department ways to increase the multilateral assistance to local peasants, so as to elevate their level of production.
