FAA pensioners in Moxico gain office for pension scheme

Luena – Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) pensioners in the eastern region (Moxico, Lunda Sul and Lunda Norte), have now an office that deals with their pension scheme, inaugurated by Moxico provincial governor, João Ernesto dos Santos “Liberdade”.

The two floor-building located in Santa Rosa District, in Luena City’s periphery, was inaugurated as part of the commemorations the 49th anniversary of the beginning of liberation struggle against colonialism, marked last Thursday.

FAA’s Pension Scheme national director, João Luís Neto “Xieto”, said that the institution is prepared to minimise problems faced by the soldiers, who in many occasions had to travel to Luanda to solve their problems.

This is the fifth provincial office of FAA’s Pension Scheme, after inauguration of others in the provinces of Namibe, Bié, Benguela and Huíla.
