Criminals rob AKz 600,000 from Assunção parish

 Lubango - Unidentified group of assailants stormed early Friday Our Lady of Assunção parish (Lage Church), in Lubango, southern Huila province, stealing more than AKz 600,000 and some items, ANGOP has learnt .


 
According to religious institution’s priest, Benedito Capingala, the armed thieves subdued the security guard without, however, hurting him, in order to better carry out their action.

 

He informed that this is the third action of its kind targeting the church in three years.

 

The first happened in 2008 and later in 2009.
