Uíge– Twenty volunteer youths participate as from this Friday in a training seminar on community health, promoted by Angola Red Cross (CVA)’s local delegation.
The two-day training action is being led by three trainers from Luanda and highlights among other topics community preventive health, family reunion in shelter camps and HIV/AIDS.
The national co-ordinator for HIV/AIDS, João Brandão, said that the objective is to train youths to inform disadvantaged people in villages, community and shelter centres, places where one finds Angolan citizens coming from DR Congo.
CVA provincial secretary in Uíge, Francisco Bongo Tomás, asked participants to learn with responsibility the subjects being taught to serve the community better.
