Private security firms to stop using war weapons

Luanda - Security private firms will stop using war weapons after the approval, by the concerned authorities, of a new legal framework that will regulate the activity of these institutions in the country, ANGOP has learnt.

 

This was expressed in Luanda by the second commander-general of the National Police, chief commissioner Paulo de Almeida, in an interview to ANGOP.

 

"After the approval of the new law, no private security firm will be allowed to use war weapons, this will be an exclusive prerogative of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and the National Police", he said.
