Energy minister in Tombwa district

 

Namibe - Angola's Industry Minister, Emanuela Vieira Lopes, is travelling Friday to Tombwa district, southwestern Namibe province, where she is to assess the functioning of the diesel central and the local sub-station, Angop has learnt.

 


In Tombwa, that official will also hear about the former Namibe-Tombwa electricity transportation line and the industrial zone.

 


On Thursday, the minester Emanuela Lopes was briefed on the supply and distribution of electricity in Namibe province, where she is since Thursday for a few days visit.

 


In Xitoto, the official received information from the provincial director of  the electricity company, Manuel Gonçalves Vidal, who said Namibe has a total production of 18 megawatts.
