Trade union wants domestic workers recruitment process regularised

Luanda - The general secretary of the UNTA-CS trade union, Manuel Viaje, has considered as necessary the adoption of efficient strategies to put an end to the recruitment of domestic workers by non regular firms, ANGOP has learnt.

Speaking to the press, at the end of the national meeting of Women Trade Unionists, which debated the issue of equality, the official said that there are firms that recruit domestic workers who work in condominiums but do not have a direct labour relationship with the household heads.

In his opinion, if this situation is not solved immediately, soon the country might face unfair working relations, bad payment and other inhuman practices in this profesion.
