Four killed following witchcraft accusations

Kuito - At least four people were killed by their relatives, following accusation of witchcraft, in November, in Nharea District, Central Bié Province, ANGOP has learnt.

 

The municipal administration of Nharea says, in a press note, that three other female citizens accused of witchcraft and privately detained by their accusers, have been released by the police, following a retention in residences of individuals.

 

The accused people are aged between 30 to 90 years old.

 

The note also says that the administration met with 108 healers and traditional authorities to put and end to this ill.
