Photo exhibition at inauguration of Planet Earth conference

Lisbon - The international conference on Planet Earth is to start on Thursday, in Lisbon, Portugal, with the inauguration of an exhibition dubbed World Press Photo and the presentation of the results of the meeting on the International Year of Planet Earth, ANGOP
has learnt.

 

The exhibition shows Angola's social and cultural reality.

 

It is an initiative of the Angola Espirito Santo Bank (BESA) that gathers professionals from Angola and other African countries.

 

Angola will be represented at the gathering by a team from the Ministry of Environment, led by the incumbent minister, Fátima Jardim, who is to address a speech during the inaugural act.

 

The three-day event is to gather over 700 personalities and includes conferences, films exhibition and educative projects.
