Luanda – Three hundred men including some with physical disability and 161 women, were trained in various businesses at the Viana (Luanda) Professional Rehabilitation Centre, from January to August this year, Angop learnt Tuesday from the institution’s Pedagogic Administration.
According to the pedagogic co-ordinator, Elisa Agostinho Brando, the centre trained 19 youths in sewing, 13 in plumbing, 22 in general accounting, 20 in cooking, 21 in electricity and two in painting.
Another 51 were in computerised accounting, 54 in hardware, 88 in computer training, 14 poultry and others.
According to Elisa Agostinho, the centre was established in 1991, has 12 classrooms, 21 teachers, including four women.
