Red Cross volunteers end seminar on health

Uige – Young volunteers with the red cross in the northern Uije Province have been called to engage themselves in the promotion of vulnerable people’s health near the communities, ANGOP has learnt.

The call came from the Angolan Red Cross (CVA) administrative official, Afonso Pereira, at  the closing act of an upgrading seminar on preventive community health, appealing to the  activists to do their tasks with love and better serve the communities, mainly in shelter centres.

The training took two days and lecturers were staff that came from Luanda City, that  addressed themes such as Prevention of Community Health, HIV/AIDS and Family Reunification in shelter fields.
