Minister without portfolio expected in Zaire

Luanda – The Angolan minister without portfolio, António Bento Bembe, is expected Thursday in northern Zaire province, to learn about the human rights situation in the region and the plight of prison inmates, says a note that reached Angop.

 

The note states that during the two days visit, Bento Bembe will meet with the local governor, Pedro Sebastião, and with the consultative council of the Home Ministry in the province.
 

The minister’s agenda includes meetings with judicial magistrates and members of the attorney office and visits to local prisons.

 

He will also meet with representatives of churches, traditional authorities and members of the Human Rights provincial committee.
