Civil society promotes colloquium

Mbanza Congo – A conference focused on the promotion of dialogue and sharing of experiences involving various civil society organisations in the northern Zaire Province, will be held Friday and Saturday respectively, in Mbanza Kongo City, ANGOP learned Tuesday from a local  source.


According to a communiqué from the provincial coordination group of local the community, the event, which will be attended by members of various state institutions and social divisions, aims also at contributing to the strengthening of coordination and exchange of ideas. 
 

The project, adds the document, emerged with purpose of strengthening the role played by the Angolan civil society. It started with the holding of two initial conferences, the last one held on November 25-27, in 2008, in Luanda.


The conference of the civil society is sponsored by the Catholic Development Agency “Trocaire”.
