Red Cross attends women fair

Luanda – The Red Cross of Angola (CVA) will attend the second Edition of Angolan Women Fair, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Family and Women Promotion and Health Ministry, going between 27 and 29 July.


According to a press note reached Thursday Angop in Luanda, CVA, through its volunteers will conduct a vaccination campaign against tetanus, blood pressure measurement, distribution of information material, education and communication (IEC) on HIV.


Distribution of condoms, awareness on the prevention of malaria and distribution of mosquito nets, will also mark the campaign.


For the performance of the activity, CVA will assemble two tends, the source added.
