Over 1000 people treated in Health Fair

 

Bailundo – About 1,500 people benefited from medical treatment in diverse specialties, during the Health Fair held last Saturday, in Bailundo Municipality, central Huambo Province, in an initiative of the provincial health department.


During the event, the medical staff conducted consultations on paediatrics, obstetrics, gynaecology, general clinic, ophthalmology, stomatology, malaria, glycaemia, HIV/Aids, blood pressure control and exams on the breast.


The event also included vaccines against tetanus, distribution of condoms, educational leaflets, insecticide-treated mosquito nets, as well as the donation of blood.
