Ondjiva – The Head of Public Health Provincial Department and Disease Control, Ana Dionísio Domingos, stressed this Saturday the collaboration and participation of women in fertile age to join neo-natal tetanus vaccination campaign started in Cunene province.
Speaking at the beginning of the campaign, the official considered important for the fact of contributing for reduction of neo-natal mortality rate and guarantee the stability of public health in benefit of the population.
The health director said that the current campaign has two phases, the first being urban one happening from 14 to 18 July, with an aim of vaccinating 61,924 women.
The source informed also that the second phase is scheduled for 19-24 July and expects to vaccinate 101,933 women.
