Health Ministry to vaccinate over 337,000 women against tetanus

Huambo – Over 337,000 women aged between 14 and 49 will be vaccinated against tetanus during a campaign that will happen from 15 to 24 July, in an initiative of the provincial health department.

 

In an interview to ANGOP on Friday, the supervisor of Huambo’s health promotion revealed that the department has conditions for the vaccination campaign to start, providing tetanus shot to women in fertile age.

 

According to the source, the campaign expects to immunize at the first stage over 275,000 fertile women and about 120, 039 women of 11 districts of Huambo Province.
