Chevron donates 1.2 million dollars for polio fight


 
Luanda - Some 1.2 million dollars will be handed over by the USA oil company Chevron to support the Angolan government in the fight against poliomyelitis, ANGOP has learnt.


A press note says that the handover ceremony will take place on Tuesday, in Luanda.


The act will be chaired by the vice minister of Health, Evelise Frestas, with the presence of the excutive manager of Chevron, Richard P. Cohagem, as well as representatives of the World Health Organisation and Unicef.
