Luanda – The first edition of Lwini Fund’s health fair, dubbed Expo Lwini 2012, was opened last Friday in Luanda, by the Health minister, José Van-Dúnem, and will happen under the motto “With health and well, all different , all the same”.
The event, which will happen until Sunday in the premises if Filda, in Luanda, has the objective to improve people’s living conditions and create a public health network to be spread through the country aimed at valorising the Angolan person, regardless of his/her physical or social situation.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the vice chairwoman of the Lwini Foundation, Joana Lina, the vice governor of Luanda, Jovelina Imperial, the chairman of International Fair of Luanda, Matos Cardoso, government officials, MPs, other representatives of the Lwini Foundation and Health Ministry, as well as other guests.
The event also include the holding of lectures, health and wellbeing workshops, as well as sports and cultural activities, among other health-related activities.
Expo Lwini is set to take place every two years.
