Youth forum holds seminar on HIV/AIDS

Luanda - The youth forum of support and prevention of HIV/AIDS (Fojasida), in Cazenga district, in Luanda, held from June 20-22, a seminar on social advocacy to disseminate national laws and regulations related to Hiv/Aids.

According to the assistant of the programme of Fojasida, Fernando Manuel, the agents will be trained in the communities in order to publicize the laws and regulations on the Hiv/Aids.

Fernando Manuel said that the target group, initially, will be the teachers and staff of health units working direct or indirectly with communities.

Because there is a lot of discrimination of people living with the disease, there is a need to disclose more laws and regulations on HIV/AIDS in institutions such as schools and health facilities, where there are people living with the disease.

“Everyone should help to promote and respect the people suffering and living with Hiv/Aids”, he concludes.
