Angola, Japanese agency hold seminar on transmitted diseases

 

Luanda - The Angolan Government and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will hold on June 25, the pre-course of the 6th scientific meeting
on accidents and chronic non-transmitted diseases at the Josina Machel Hospital in Luanda.

 
According to a note issued by JICA, sent Thursday to ANGOP, the meeting will be chaired by the Japanese doctor, Yasuhiro Yamamoto, with the participation of national and international experts and Japanese diplomats.

 
The event will also include representatives from hospitals of Américo Boavida, Josina Machel, Prenda, Cacuaco, Samba, Viana, Cazenga, Kilamba Kiaxi, Lucretia Paím Maternity and health centres in the capital city.
 

JICA has been operating in Angola in the areas of service of hospital equipment, rehabilitation of infrastructures, training human resources of the Josina Machel Hospital.
