Angola at UNAIDS regional conference in Zimbabwe

 

Luanda – The Angolan Minister of Family and Women Promotion, Genoveva Lino, travelled on Wednesday to Zimbabwe, where she will represent the country in the UNAIDS regional conference, set for 25-27 May in Harare city.

 

Speaking to Angop at the Luanda’s "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport, Angola was invited to attend the event under the presidency of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) and will chair one of the panels on the women participation in society and policies related to their protection, being victims or infected by HIV-Aids.

 

During the meeting, the minister will also present aspects related the reality of the woman that is a victim of the referred disease in the Angolan society.
