WHO regional director hails President for country's development

Luanda - The World Health Organization (WHO) director for Africa, Luis Gomes Sambo, on Friday here congratulated the President of the Republic, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, for the country's development in social, political and economic areas.

 

This was announced to the press, after an audience granted by the Angolan Statesman, to  whom he transmitted a message from the African Ministers of health, gathered recently in the 62nd session, in Luanda.

 

"Doubtless, Angola is making progress therefore it must be acknowledged at the level of  leadership",  said Luis Sambo, adding that public heath in this country has been improving a lot since the peace achievement in 2002.
