Health authorities record over 400 new cases of TB in Kwanza Norte

Ndalatando – About 435 new cases of tuberculosis, which resulted in 26 deaths, were recorded last year in Kwanza Norte Province by the health authorities.

 

According to data checked by ANGOP, in relation to the year 2010 there was a reduction of 143 new cases, but there was an increase of twenty in the number of deaths.


 
The document also states that the provincial health authorities intend for this year to decrease the number of cases to 80 per 100.000 inhabitants, which will demand from the sector a doubling of efforts.
